Please note that we WILL be holding peewee class on Monday, February 20, at 4 p.m., in spite of the President’s Day holiday. We will meet outdoors – dress warmly if needed! In case of rain, we have a backup plan for going indoors. Whatever the weather, I’ll see you there, and we’ll practice for the big demo!

The 5 p.m. class will NOT meet on Monday; instead, 5 p.m. students should attend a make-up class on Tuesday at 4 p.m. This will enable us to do some demo practice with all the intermediate kids’ groups together.

There will be a “dress rehearsal” for the 20th anniversary demo on Thursday, February 23, at 6 p.m. Students should attend this in addition to their regular classes. Teens and adults who will be helping with the children’s portion of the demo will need to be there at 6 if not earlier! We will try to run the rehearsal in an efficient manner so that children can finish up and leave by 6:30 or 6:45 (youngest kids first).

Watch for some coverage of Redwood Dojo in next week’s Montclarion. A photographer visited the 5 p.m. class on Thursday…can’t wait to see who gets in the paper…

And finally…

The Redwood Heights school’s annual Cultural Expo is coming up on March 24, and we’ve been invited once again to do a demo. We will be putting the spotlight on our black belt candidates this year, as well as featuring a group of kids of all ages and ranks who enjoy performing and are willing to put in some extra practice. If you enjoy taking part in the 20th Anniversary demo and think you’d like to perform again in March, ask Sensei Didi what you’ll need to do.
